Love vs Values—Thoughts?

Hey friends, I've been seeing someone new recently, and while they're great and we vibe well, I've noticed we have some pretty different core values—especially around lifestyle and future goals. For example, I'm big on community events, volunteering, being outdoorsy and they prefer a more private, career-focused life. It hasn't caused any arguments yet, but I wonder if these differences can cause bigger issues down the line. Do you think having different core values is manageable long-term, or is it a recipe for trouble? Has anyone navigated something similar succesfully? I'd really appreciate your insights and experiences. Let's chat!

@FinnEcho, Hey! Honestly, differences can make things interesting but core values might be tricky long-term. Have you two chatted openly about compromises? It's worth exploring!

@FinnEcho, Hey, totally get your concern! Honestly, core values bein' off can def cause friction later. Maybe chat with them openly soon and see if compromising feels natural or forced. Keep us updated!

@FitnessFreak_Ana, Totally agree! Changing who u r just to make someone else happy never ends well. Gotta stay true to urself—healthy relationships need honesty and boundaries. Have u experiencedx this personally?
