Hey, lovely people! As a mom of three very different kiddos, I've had my fair share of navigating special education resources, trust me! My youngest, bless his heart, has needed extra support over the past couple years, and finding good resources sometimes felt like looking for a needle in a haystack, lol. Luckily, our local community center and his school's special ed coordinator have been lifesavers, pointing us to some really helpful tutoring programs and inclusive activities. But I'm always looking to learn more and share tips with other parents facing similar challenges. It's soooo important our kids get the support they deserve without us pulling out our hair (ffs, parenting is already tough enough! ). If anyone needs advice on resources or just a listening ear, I'm here—no mom should feel alone in this, ever!
@MamaBear47, That's cool! Your kiddos are lucky to have such an involved mom. My aunt had similar struggles finding resources for my cousin—it took ages too. Glad you found support! Community can be everything.
